My Family Matters Most:
My first ministry is to my family. My legacy depends on my investment at home.
Christ-filled compassion in action:
I want to listen to others’ stories and gain an understanding of who they are. Listening, understanding, and accepting so that I can show grace in how I serve them.
But seriously, have fun:
If I don’t enjoy my life, who will? Laughing and smiling together as we walk this journey matters more than most folks want to admit.
Consistent renewal days characterized by rest and reflection:
I will regularly spend time in nature, whether in solitude or with others, to reflect and remember that God is my refuge. Being renewed in the presence of God’s peace in these times sustains me in the work He has called me to.
The Church is God’s plan to change my community and the world.
In the church I am able to build relationships, grow in Christ, and find community. Through bringing generations together we can invest in others as we walk the journey toward Jesus together.
Teamwork makes the dream work:
I will accomplish more through conversation and collaboration. My ideas aren’t as good as our ideas.
Fully accepting who God created me to be, my story is an important part of my ministry:
I want to honestly assess who I am and where I’ve come from, continuing to learn and grow so that I can journey with others to know Christ more.
Passionately committed to understanding the best way to communicate the Gospel:
It is critical that I stay creative in how I share my life and my faith with others. Using digital media and design to communicate with people where they are.
